Accordingly, our country has established laws designed to prevent money laundering and Volksbank Bocholt eG, like all other German banks, is subject to suchs laws. Additionally, we would also like to bring your kind attention to the fact that all financial institutions in Germany are supervised by the German financial authority " Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht ( BaFin ) and the implementation of Anti-Money Laundering rules within each bank is part of the monitoring process of the external auditing companies as well as of said authority.

Volksbank Bocholt eG has a clear written policy designed to combat money laundering and this includes the following measures:

We have written internal procedures and controls to implement anti-money laundering policis.

We have an established employee training program to teach employees about laundering

and to assist them in identifying suspicious activities.

We have an established audit and compliance review function to test the adequacy of anti-money laundering procedures and policies.

We have an established method for reporting suspicious activities and transactions

to appropriate authorities.

We are required to fully verify the identity of all customers. Our policy of customer

identification procedures are in line with the Financial Task Force ( FATF )

standards.

We maintain records on customer identification, account files and correspondence for

the legal period of time and co-operate with local authorities so as to permit

investigation of suspicious activities as well as provide, if necessary evidence for

prosecution of criminal behaviour.

We have a policy to protect employees if they report in good faith and suspicious

activity.

We have a policy of not opening accounts for foreign bank that does not have a

physical presence in any country and we have none of such accounts in our books.
